Congratulations on your decision to participate in WinningEdge 7-on-7! We are excited to see your team compete and improve out there. This email is a quick reminder to make sure that you take care of a few required steps in order to ensure that your can participate.

1) Our highest priority at WinningEdge is player safety, but we all know that accidents happen. Any player that has not registered for insurance will not be allowed to participate.

2) You will need to make sure that ALL of your players fill out their player registration form online. Players that don’t register online will not be allowed to participate. All they need to do is go to www.winningedge7on7.com and fill out the form, which will ask them a few necessary questions, including the coach that they are signing up with. Players also need to print off their waiver form and have it signed by their parent/guardian in order to participate. Players will receive an email with link to a PDF of their waiver form once they’ve submitted their registration form. Players should give their signed waiver form to you, so that you can submit it to the league the day of the tournament (you can turn the waivers in before then, if you’d like).

3) You will also need to make sure that your team has the same color shirts/jerseys when they compete in the tournament. Ideally, players will have jerseys with numbers, but matching t-shirts are fine as well. When two teams have the same color jersey, WinningEdge will provide “pennies” (netted shirts that are worn over jerseys), for one of the teams. Because there is no blocking or tackling in our tournaments, players will not wear helmets or pads. Shorts, cleats, and uniforms are all that is required. Specific game times will be announced the week of the tournament. A great way to stay up to date with all of our upcoming events is to like us on Facebook. Our Facebook page will provide links to videos and articles with tips on how to be your best this year. It will also post our league news, such as MVP winners, tournament champions, and position specific awards.
